Polybot - regenerative, biodiverse, affordable agriculture with AI

Want an apple? A few days ago, our research project "Polybot - radically rethinking agriculture with AI" made a grand appearance at the Stallwächterparty in Berlin.

The Tübingen AI Center presented the Polybot directly in front of the entrance of the Baden-Württemberg representation. The Polybot is a flexible small robot. Swarms of such robots make it possible to realize sustainable and cost-effective agriculture in small-scale structured polycultures instead of large monocultures. AI, robotics and agroecology are integrated here to utilize plant synergies and natural cycles, promote biodiversity and ensure long-term nutrition for the population. At the barn watch party, the Polybot picked up apples from an apple tree, and guests were able to take photos with it.
